We search for meaning in success, relationships, and experiences, yet true purpose remains elusive. Meaning isn’t something we invent; it is something we discover from our Creator.

I. The Foundation of Meaning: Knowing the Source.
True meaning is found not in a philosophy, but in a Person: Jesus Christ, who is life itself (John 14:6). We were created in God’s image (Gen 1:26) for a relationship with Him. Meaning starts with receiving the wisdom He offers (Prov 4:1-2).
II. The Path to Meaning: Yielding to the Prescription
God’s Word is the manufacturer’s manual for a fulfilled life. It is not enough to just hear it; we must do it (James 1:22). The doer of the Word is blessed.
How to Discover This Meaning:
1. Immerse in the Word: “Meditate on the Book of the Law day and night… then you will have good success.” (Joshua 1:8)
2. Cultivate a Godly Attitude: Pride destroys purpose, but humility paves the way. “Pride goes before destruction…” (Prov 16:18). Your attitude determines your altitude.
3. Remain Teachable: Be open to correction and guidance. “Train up a child in the way he should go…” (Prov 22:6). A teachable spirit attracts divine help.
4. Love the Lord: Desire His presence like a newborn baby desires milk (1 Peter 2:2). Love for God is the engine of obedience.
III. The Evidence of Meaning: A Transformed Life
Those who find this new meaning are never the same:
1. Simon Peter (Luke 5:1-11) left his nets to follow Christ.
2. Saul (Acts 9) became Paul, preaching the kingdom he once tried to destroy (Acts 28:31).
3. The healed demoniac (Mark 5:20) became an evangelist to his city.
This is the testimony of those who look at Him and are radiant (Ps 34:5).
Prayer:
*Lord, let Your light shine on my path.
*Be glorified in my life and direct my steps.
*I refuse to look back. Fasten my hands and eyes on the plough of my purpose.
*Help me to finish strong and faithful. Amen.
