Our spiritual journey is not sustained by a single moment of salvation but by a continuous, daily infilling of God’s power through the Holy Spirit. Complacency is our enemy; fresh anointing is our necessity.

The Pattern: Jesus Modeled a Spirit-Filled Life. Jesus Himself, though fully God, depended on the Holy Spirit’s power for His earthly ministry.
The Promise: The Power is Available to Us.
The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead and empowered the early church is available to every believer.
The Problem: Complacency Quenches the Fire.
We cannot live on yesterday’s anointing. Like King Saul, we should be distressed at the thought of the Spirit’s power departing from us (1 Samuel). We must constantly ask: “Is the fire of God still burning in me?”
The Practice: How to Stir Up the Holy Spirit.
It is our responsibility to keep the fire burning. We stir up the gift of God within us by:
A Prayer for Fresh Filling:
Heavenly Father,
Anoint me with fresh oil. Baptize me with fresh fire.
I thirst for Your living water; let it overflow from me.
Grant me the power to win souls and to be a life-changer for Your glory.
Make me a ready and empowered agent of the coming revival.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
